The living body is so much more a system of movement than a bodily shape in space. So we can most precisely call the life that invests it with a soul and never resting process. The bodily expression of every condition of the soul is such that it for its parts can elicit this condition again. And this is the key. If certain changes in posture of every person express a change in the state of his or her soul, that life affirming authenticity within. It is not difficult to read from the face, such qualities as courage or timidity, greed or generosity, softness or hardness,. on the condition that the gaze has sufficiently attuned itself to pay attention to the soul at all.
