We talk to kids about things like butterflies in my stomach, or what it feels like to be cold or hungry or tired. What we're doing there is connecting internal feelings to words. And i want to help them do this with emotions across the board. It doesn't mean that the emotion goes away. Maybe we help our body feel safe. Once the dust settles, you're still feeling embarrassed,. You're still feeling sadder, still disappointed, the feeling might not go away. And that's ok. So em, if you have a couple of tips for em parents. Talk about parents first. I did not grope with this. In my house. My emotions were not allowed.
