What Happened to Katie?
Karen Frank suffocated her daughter Katie by placing a white plastic bag over her head. She did this because she was upset about something that had happened the day before. Karen and her mother, Ernest Frank, were at the McCarran House in Morton, Illinois with two year old Emily. After lunch, Karen put Emily down for a nap but rather than put Katie down for aNap as well, she decided to take Katie for a car ride to calm her down. Now it wasn't long after Katie got back to Morton and before Paul could return that she was dead.
