U is a very convenient hiding place, hiding plain sight, for some really decidedly not love and not light kind of ideologies. I think was like the k g b in the new world order, but not the pentagon. And if you take the stargate conspiracy quote that i read earlier, saying that theosophy is a inarchy, is theosophy political ambitions, it leads to some interesting places. So, this benign word, salad channelling gobbledy gook, hippy, dippy, crystal hugging, a easily dismissed kind of complex as new age mythology.
