Pinocchio's Lie to Chappetto
Chappetto isn't necessarily over the death of his son, but he's trying to make Pinocchio into something that he's not also. So everybody in this whole story is trying to tell Pinocchio who he is without Pinocchio being able to decide that for himself. And you see that he doesn't look very happy about that. This is the first time you're really seeing Chappetto so angry with Pinocchio. He's like, what do I tell him on why I lost the book that belonged to Carlo?
