The Importance of Coping With External Threats
They have to become business partners because they're stuck together now. They've got the cartel after them, the only way of saving their own lives. Wendy had to see Gary murdered in front of her. Marty saw his business partner, Bruce killed in front of him and a few other people. By having to come together to fight those external threats or get out ahead of those external threats, it means they can in a way bury the problems in their marriage. And I think a lot of relationships sadly are like that. When you haven't got a cartel hunting you down to kill your entire family, you're just a normal working family.
