Pre-Tax Profit Margin Forecast for Precision Cast Parts

In certain important countries, there's lower thresholds at which we have to report our holdings as a percentage of the company's stock outstanding. Precision cast parts pre-tax profit margins are almost 10 percentage points below where they were in the years preceding the acquisition. The annual report hints that unplanned shutdowns, the learning curve on new plane models and a shift of oil and gas capacity to aerospace might all be temporarily depressing margins. But it's unclear what a reasonable long-term margin expectation is for this unit.
