Aspiration Is a Theory of Change
I don't believe that if you haven't had the experience of parenting yourself, that means you're necessarily missing something. But I do think that philosophy has, like, there are many aspects of the human experience that are under-fearized by philosophers. And this is, in part, a theory of how so many things in our life are more like parenting than we realize.
