I think maybe that's linked to my chafing against mundanity, even little things like, I embarrassed myself sometimes. So it's almost like the people having the Zathar chicken can have it from a nice recipe book. It's like a sort of safe space and you're there as the kind of exotic bauble. But other times I also think like, what are we doing here? We're together, we're human beings, we've chosen to congregate and share. What is the point if we just have phatic communication about stuff we might as well not do it at all? And I understand not every interaction can be this kind of pristine philosophical exercise in humanity.
