Socrates Disrupted the Youth

Socrates' relationship to religion and religious practices is not something being about what he believes. Rather another way to think about religion is as a sort of civic structuring practice. The problem wasn't that Socrates talked about these gods in these different ways, but what you believed or didn't believe. And perhaps maybe this is the way into understanding Socrates, what practices you disrupted.
