How Did You Learn English?

So after the second time doing the tour guide job, I went back to doing immersion all the time. And then I transferred into a normal four-year university. At the university, there were a lot of Japanese foreign exchange students. So that was at the first point, I actually started speaking on a regular basis. But because my Japanese was like so much better than their English, they were like embarrassed to speak English to me.
