The Story Is Paying Off the Expectation the Cover Sets
The book sold well, but I very much felt I wasn't building a readership because it was always this disjunction. People bought the book expecting one-starch reading experience and got quite a different reading experience. So that whole way in which the visual elements of the cover are positioning your book is something that you need to develop. And as we said, that takes a bit of research. That's not something that most of us as all through,. It's lots of authors and not very visual. We're not brilliant on visuals.
