The Conspiracy of Subliminal Advertising
In the 1980s concerned over subliminal messages spread, uh, to brands such as sticks and Judas Priest. The later band even was sued in 1990 for allegedly causing a teen's death with sublimINAL messages. There is no inherent benefit of subliminal advertising over regular advertising anymore than would be in seeing a flash of a commercial instead of a full 22nd commercial.
