John Paulson: People are so caught up in their group think that as soon as somebody poses the alternative hypothesis, they're almost laughed out of the room. He says Moody's at S&P were not willing to either look outside of what happened in the recent past or consider that the trend would change. In one sense there have never been mortgage underwritten of such low quality and credit quality had never been as poor as it was in that period.
