The Biggest Problem - The Heat Problem
Is it possible that before the flood, much less radioactive material was incorporated into the bodies of the pre-flood people and animals? I don't know, but it's possible. That's another area that they suggest needs more research. The heat problem is not an insubstantial problem. If you cram hundreds of millions of years worth of decay into one year, you'd raise the temperature of the crust of rocks to about 22,000 degrees Celsius. This is hot. I think it's nearly four times as hot as the surface of the sun.
