The Impossibility of Potential Infinity
Aristotle accepted the possibility of what is called a potential infinity. It's when you have a situation of indefinite increase, like counting up through numbers. Aristotle devised clever arguments to show the impossibility of such a scenario. He said that any finite body can always be divided, then divided again and again.
