What's the Story Structure of a Science Novel?
The opening is that first sentence or paragraph where you define the problem, what's important. The challenge in a specialist paper is typically the end of the introduction. It starts by synopsizing the findings then shows how tho findings answer the specific question and help solve the problem. In nature it may need to be more front loaded, more of the homeric structure of no the epec. But these elements must be there, they must be clear, and they must be easily identifiable. Because if we don't know them,. We don't know what you're really trying to tell us. And so if you define problem badly, you've lost audience.
