Disability - Is There a Limitation of Autonomy?

A lot of prejudice that I experience just on a day to day basis is prejudice that comes from or limitations on my autonomy. People don't understand how my body works or the kind of help I need so for example I trip and fall in the book at one point and one often responses for people to run over and kind of grab my arms but because my legs are and the nerve endings and my legs are underdeveloped I really really need my arms to pull myself up  and if you restrict the use of my arms by grabbing them like trying to lug me up you're actually making this thing much harder for me to do, she says.
