Why Did' You Pick 60?
When he was in his early forties, i went a step away from institutional leadership. By the time we get upwards toward 60, our time slot is beginning to grow old and rusty. I added probably 28 to 30 years to my life by dropping out of active pastoral ministry at the time that i did. Where it's 60, i've still got enough muscle and energy and enthusiasm to go on and try something new. And i felt like in the last years that god me a fresh new call, which has been very powerful to me.
