By 12 hundred b c, the cities of the indus valley civilization had been abandoned and a new world had taken hold. The languages spoken by the numerous unsophisticated people of the indis valley civilization didn't just disappear. Despite the fact that we have some written signs from theindus valley called the indis valley script, we don't actually know what language this writing system incodes. Most plausible current hypothesis is that they spoke a dravidian language. To day, the dravidian languages are almost entirely found far from the indus Valley.
