The Power of Emotional Design in Japan

I think probably it has to do with that kawaii aspect of things. I didn't realize what a powerful emotional design tool that was. So when I saw things that were kawaii and cute in Japanese design, I really thought that that was only for a certain subset of the population. And now I've come to just grow to love, to love how that can be such a powerful tool.
