16 year old sylvia pitman was last seen on February 6, 2013. Her parents filed a missing person report after she failed to return home from work. The next day the remains of an unidentified female were found in bushland near truro. A 14 carrot gold necklace featuring a medallion of a guardian angel had also been recovered. Police confirmed that it belonged to sylvia and called off their search for another body.
