Author Oriana Skaimastro looks at the direct and direct ways in which PRC poses a threat to US national security. She argues that China has not military capability or desire to invade or occupy U.S. territory, but it can still disrupt domestic institutions. This can be done through unconventional means such as cyber, counter space and nuclear weapons,. But also through coercive activities such as political interference and espionage.
