The Pragmatist's Argument for Sharpness

Pragmatism is an attempt to functionalize all of our philosophical concepts rather than try to make them more lofty or abstract. It's not that they give the wrong analysis, it's sort of barking up the wrong tree as it were. Pragmatists offer this conception of meaning as a way of dismissing or taking off the philosophical agenda. So far in the way you've described pragmatism, it could be logical positivism.
