The Battle of Yena
The Battle of Yena was one of the most lopsided victories of Napoleon's career. By nightfall on October 14th, just under 30,000 had been killed, wounded, or captured by the Grand Armée. As for the survivors, they no longer really composed an army. Almost every unit had totally disintegrated, with its remaining troops scattered and separated from their officers. It would be months before the remaining 30,000 men from Ho and Loa and Ruckel's armies would be in any condition to fight.
