The Transic Method to Find Exoplanets
The big challenge is with searching for exoplanets today is that you need them to mostly be lined up between us, the star, and the exoplanet. We see this in the solar system when there's a strong CME, coronal mass ejection, and it hits a planet. The exact way in which planets respond to the sun is complicated, but there is a response. That would be the ideal scenario for us to watch a CME leave another star and see another blip as it reaches a planet in that system.
