He was one of three black students on the entire campus. He recognized that he just was always going to be hitting his head on the ceiling in this profession. Even if he was hired, he was often sequestered in quarters with the janitorial staff. And yet, shane, he does graduate as a lawyer, and yet, very quickly that career doesn't work out for him.
