The Call of the Christian Friend
The Christian faithful are those who, in as much as they have been incorporated into Christ's through baptism, have been constituted as the people of God. The laity are made to share in the priestly, prophetic and keenly office of Christ. Finally, from both groups, hierarchy and laity, there exist Christian faithful who are consecrated to God in their own special way. They serve the salvific mission of the Church through the profession of evangelical councils.
