The basil controller is a control that adapts on multiple timescales. It has, you know, an average basil rate that it figures out by itself over time. And there's an ability of the basil algorithm to shut basil and slum off completely if you're starting to go low. So it does patterns on a daily basis and it is able to adapt to your ever changing insulin needs.
