Carmen Cuccio: I try to not have top down thesis. The founders that you meet are the ones that obsess and they make you obsessed about it as well because they're so captivating. At pre-seed, it's a most rational decision is to base your investment decision into a founder. This is less common in the UK because it's a more sophisticated ecosystem but it happens a lot in the rest of Europe. It's like no free options. Back to my point of investing in founders is a privilege. We should work for it pre-round, post-round. Make people work for you, know your worth, do not give options for free.
