The Importance of Understanding Happiness
In a recent survey, people were asked what happiness is and those who had an understanding of it from the Christian or Islamic tradition said they felt happier. People in modern culture say we're happy if we just buy this and then we're happy oh and by the way we're also destroying the planet. The Quran says that other species are nations like yourselves so how do you support modernity? It's very androcentric according to St. Francis as well but I find his diagnosis and predictions to be uncannily terrifyingly accurate on many occasions.
