Every sunday in worship we recount the deeds of the glorious god who not only made us but saved us and that's what we do in worship is we recount it because we have to be reminded. When we are unfaithful we most need his to hear his faithfulness when we have been unfaithful worship isn't a gathering of the faithful it is the gathering of the unfaithful to hear about the faithful one who has accepted us welcomed us and bought us through his son.
