Aria is what we as developers need to be very familiar with, and we are gong to talk about this in our first tip. Semantic h tml are a h t ml elements. They're attributes that you can add to your ech tmale to make it more semantic for screen readers. With aria roles, we can actually tell a screen reader, hey, this is actually a select drop down, and it's expanded. We should be hooking up state. Wendy, i'm sure you don't know this, but often is one of the biggest culprits of inaccessible applications.
