Is There Any Evidence That Inflation Works?
The dominant view, i think it's fair to say, in macro economics right now, is that inflation works is kind of like a self fulfilling prophecy. The theory has been that this operates on a kind of society level. And red does not think there's any good empirical evidence that this is actually how anything works. So guys, what did you make of the paper? It seems like such an intuitive concept that for me, it's hard to argue that we need robust empirical evidence for it.
