Trump's Twitter Style Over Time

CNN's John Sutter analyzed Donald Trump's tweets over the course of his presidential campaign. He found that there was a real inflection point when it became clear he would win the Republican primary and then pivot towards the general election. His Twitter style changed dramatically in all sorts of ways, including becoming much less engaged with external viewpoints. But is self-presentation, I don't know, is that deceptive? What tips do you have for people who are trying to avoid fake news?
