John Avlon: Can we really class Democrats and Republicans, not just today, but 20 or 30 years ago? He says it's quite clear that there is a party which says individual freedom is important. But if you have a party on the other hand, he asks, what kind of tyranny are they trying to avoid? Avlon: I would say who's in the driver seat for getting things done isn't so clear anymore.
