Trump's Dovishness on Ukraine

I think that GOP base is pretty smart and when they say he's a neo con that's not exactly correct but that's kind of code for he date that they detect. He represents a reversion to that's a pre Trump, pre populist conventions of the Paul Ryan type with one exception on immigration. In some sense what we're seeing with DeSantis is a kind of reversion to the norm of campaigning right this kind of cringy awkward stuff that seems actually very narrow  and it's familiar for many campaigns.
