Agatha Christie and Mrs Neil
Archibald Christie's brother received a letter in the post from Agatha. She said she might go to Yorkshire, Archie's mother also mentioned it. Superintendent Goddard thinks that Colonel Christie is tight-lipped and shifty. But social hierarchy means he can't lean too heavily on the upper-class war hero without plenty of evidence. He believes Mrs Christie must be alive or they would have found a body. Last night, two musicians from the Hydropathic Hotel's house band visited the police station after their shifts. They report that Mrs Agatha Christie is alive and well and dancing the Charleston - albeit very badly.
