The Stigma of Dyslexia and Learning Disabilities
The amount of people in prison that are dyslexic and have learning disabilities is like seven out of 10. There's still the stigma with a lot of parents don't want to admit there's something wrong with their kid. And it's just so hard to overcome your own denial as a parent. If I wasn't dyslexic, I wouldn't be talking to you. I wouldn't live in New York City. I would have had a very different life if I wasn't Dyslexic.
