Charles Heitzich - Champagne Charlie
Charles Heitzich was an indefatigable salesman. His champagne became so popular that people would go into a bar and order not a bottle of champagne or even a bottle of Charles, please. So he returns to America in the mid-1850s. The sales agent was not paying for the champagne that the Heitzics were shipping over to New York. And one can only assume that he probably sang along with him.
