The Problem With Learning to Assess Soft Skills
Growth mindset is a really good example where I was part of the field at a time when we all obsessed a little bit over how are we going? And it turns out that if you explain what growth mindset is to a teenager, I learn this the hard way. They self-described as being growth mindset like breaking scales. So my take in this moment, and I'll reserve the right to totally change my mind, which I'm apt. But is that it's another way to reinvent talking about a system that's really hard to assess.
