It can be confusing sometimes when you hear spiritual teachers talking about this idea of illusion. And it just can feel hard to find your ground in your own experience. Eckhart suggests what we do in the cloud of unknowing, or the latter in heaven. He is suggesting a way to have that meditative state through the whole day to detach with the leads to the birth. We will see as this goes along that is his teaching.
