Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
Ed Solomon and I co-wrote Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. We came up with the characters of Bill and Ted in 1983 when we were at college. The idea was two teenage boys studying for a history report who don't know anything about history. And then it, and so we just played with Bill and Ted for a while after that. It took a little while to get it made because people didn't think it was very funny.
