The Taste for Rule by Emergency

We saw the most dramatic infringement of civil liberties in peacetime. And, you know, what I see coming out of COVID is that there's a taste for rule by emergency has been rekindled among political elites all over the world. Every little note of hierarchy in society pretty much grabbed on to the discourse of emergency and embraced it and did what they wanted. We have to believe in the future and struggle for the future, no matter what.
