How Do You Deal With Encrypted Platforms?
The number of people using social media and who are using smartphones is several times higher than the level of literacy in the country. People so much rely on the source of information and what is being shared that sometimes it can even lead to some deadly cases. I would say that WhatsApp, Telegram and also YouTube are those going to be the next stages in fighting disinformation. The story repeats exactly as we had with Facebook so the first step which arises from that platform understanding that they are being misused and they actually become the platform that helps spreading this information.
