Introduction

Sam Gregg: 260 years ago in 1762, a middle-aged professor at the University of Glasgow was delivering lectures on jurisprudence. One set of those notes, however, was discovered in 1895, so over 130 years later. And it had come into the hands of an Edinburgh lawyer. Now normally, discovery of this type would be neither here nor there, except for the fact that these notes were of lectures delivered by Adam Smith. The wealth of nations was a book that literally changed the world.
