SIMD: The Intel Pentium 2 Processor

The Intel Pentium 2 processor came out in late 90s, I think, 1997 and was sold for a couple of years. Back then I did not build databases. Definitely not in Go because that also didn't exist yet. So that could also be a solution in this case if that ever makes it. Like right now it's super experimental and they basically tell you we might just remove it so don't use it. Third stop is something called SIMD. When I first heard it almost sounded like too good to be true.
