i think parents confuse the idea that if you don't have high expectations for your children, and that they won't find their own high expectations. Coming from a farming family, probably the greatest expectation they might have had when iwas born was that eventually i would take over the farm. My brother ended up taking o the farm, so you dont one of us did. They hadn't had onethat theyt they had a look at me and they went, akin suggin o devil egor to have another one. But my it didn't put a limit on my own expectations of myself.
