60 Songs That Explain the '90s

Blizzard of Oz by Aussie Osborne

This is the last song in my favorite song on the record. It's Aussie doing power pop and it rules for two reasons. Randy bolsters a stick tone with heavy mid-red N G Q, an MXR distortion plus an MXR equalizer - including a crybaby wah. The second great thing about this song is the chorus. How metal is that shit exactly? So thanks to Aussie Osbourne and Randy Rhodes, young Diamonds, a guitar god now. And all the more godly for the fact that he can't read guitar tablature.
