Newsom's Water in Structure Project Is a Good Idea for Californians

Governor Newsom has asked Californians to voluntarily cut consumption by 15% and suggested that state wide restrictions could be on the table if conditions worse into the fall. The governor signed a state budget that includes five point one billion dollars over four years for new water inva structure and drought preparation projects. But newsom's recent actions have done little to quell anger among many farmers who say the state's failure to plan for another major drought put them on the brink of ruin.
